OWLS AC is one of the most successful clubs in the history of Leicestershire running and athletics.
Despite winning Multiple National titles, over many years, as well as producing some of the counties finest ever athletes, the over arching philosophy is not one of results but of endeavour and tenacity.
The sport we are fortunate to have chosen provides us with ample opportunity to progress on our merits. There is no dispute that hard work equals progress and success. Success in many forms and in all guises. Some measured in Medals some in personal achievement and some a simple shared experience with other team mates.
With effort and tenacity at the heart of the thing do, we feel everyone, no matter what their level of performance, warrants respect and support.
It’s as tough for the beginner as it is for the International and we understand and acknowledge that.
